The Minister of Technology and his team somehow missed my OIA request for information he has received and considered about the health risks associated with 5G.
This supports my concern that the issue is not with the technology but the way we use the technology.

Before we role out 5G- with 6G already in the wings- let’s slow down, have a good think about what is important for quality of life and the health and wellbeing of communities. Do we really need to introduce yet more RFEMR into our homes and environment even before we understand the risks to physical and mental health, and to our environment.
A celltower every 100 meters along our streets beaming 5G – a form of very high energy radiation that was designed by the military as a weapon- surely deserves serious public consideration. Wasn’t that why we paid for the government to commission the roll out of fibre optic cable throughout our communities?

5G is definitely not the type of new technology that should be slipped though under the public radar. It will affect us all- out physical and mental health, our environment, the way we prioritise our time and opportunities to escape back to nature.
Communities are rapidly coming together to challenge this threat to our way of life and to questions the competence of the politicians and bureaucrats who direct our future.

The Minister and his advisors missing my request for information does not inspire confidence in their competence…..
Thanks Matt
In the circumstances please could you give priority and urgency to processing this request.
I understand the roll out of 5G is imminent yet to date there has been no public consultation on the benefits and risks this technology.
Many new Zealanders are extremely concerned that it is being pushed through by vested interests without public consultation.
The Minister losing my request will inevitably add to this public perception.

After reading Vodafones 5G promotional videos on its website, I gave them some feedback:
Vodafone: What would you like us to know today?
Me: I would like you to know that you have made a good effort to try and sell your vision for a 5G roll out. Your vision is of a futuristic world of smart cars, super fast virtual reality for gamers, autonomous drones, holographic phone calls, and smarter shopping etc
This is not the world that everybody wants. It is not your right to change society without the consent of that society. Vodafone will be dreaming of all the profits it will make with 5G technology.
Your dream, our nightmare.
There are noticeable gaping omissions in your 5G public relations material.”
So I went on to ask Vodafone to read the international Appeal and its 153 scientific references .Source: https://www.5gspaceappeal.org/the-appeal
At the end of my “feedback” I stated: Citizens have not been asked if this is the future we want. Citizens will be insisting on a precautionary moratorium on the rollout of 5G.
We shall see…..
